Frank is running to make sure the people of District 149 have a representative who listens, leads with common sense, and delivers. Western New York has always been home. I was born and raised in Hamburg, growing up along the shores of Lake Erie and developing an appreciation for the people, communities, and opportunities that make this region special. I attended St. Mary’s of the Lake through eighth grade and graduated from Frontier High School in 1989. After high school, I earned an ROTC scholarship to Cornell University, where I studied Industrial and Labor Relations with a concentration in Economics. Following college, I served our country in the United States Army Military Police and continued my military service in the National Guard until 2001. The discipline, leadership, and sense of responsibility I gained through my education and military service helped prepare me for my career as a labor relations specialist with CSEA. During my years working with the union, I represented hundreds of employees across a wide range of professions and skilled trades. That experience taught me the importance of listening, negotiating in good faith, and finding practical solutions to difficult problems. I have always believed that people deserve a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work, and I remain proud of what we were able to accomplish through common-sense problem solving and fair negotiations. My work in labor relations also sparked my interest in the law. I attended the University at Buffalo School of Law, graduating in 2001. After law school, I built my own law practice, focusing primarily on criminal defense and personal injury. As an attorney and small-business owner, I have spent my career advocating for people, solving problems, and standing up for clients when the stakes were high. In 2025, I was elected to serve on the Hamburg Town Board as a councilman. That experience has given me an even greater appreciation for the importance of responsive local government and elected officials who remember whom they work for. ### My Western New York Roots Public service and hard work have been part of my family for generations. My mother came to the United States as a Polish immigrant following World War II in search of greater opportunity. My grandfather worked on the railroad. My father was a corrections officer and served as a CSEA president. My mother worked as a home care nurse, and my brother serves as a police officer. Those examples shaped my belief that opportunity, hard work, public service, and strong communities are worth protecting. Today, I am fortunate to have the support of my wife of 15 years, Jennifer, and our four children — Marin, Mia, Jack, and Anna — as I take on this next challenge. ### Why I’m Running Western New York is where I grew up, where I built my career, where my wife and I raised our family, and where I intend to stay. But too many families are questioning whether they can afford to do the same. High taxes, rising costs, burdensome regulations, public safety concerns, and an Albany political system that too often seems disconnected from the people it represents are making it harder for working families and businesses to succeed in New York. I believe we can do better. I am running for the New York State Assembly because Western New York deserves a strong, independent advocate who will fight for lower taxes, responsible spending, safer communities, a stronger business climate, and more opportunities for families to build their futures right here at home. My experiences as an Army veteran, labor representative, attorney, small-business owner, and Hamburg Town Councilman have taught me how to bring people together, stand firm when necessary, and fight for the people I represent.
